ENU Launches 30th Anniversary Celebrations with International Endowment Forum
At the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, a decade of events dedicated to the university’s 30th anniversary has officially begun.

The first event of the  anniversary program was the international forum “Endowments. Alumni. Patrons,” held on April 21.
The forum brought together representatives of the academic community, the business sector, government bodies, and university partners.

Among the speakers were representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including Chief of Staff Madiyar Kozhakhmet, as well as Deputy Akim of Astana Yevgeniy Glotov.

A special status was given to the event by a delegation from the United States of America, which included representatives of academia, business, and philanthropic organizations. In particular, the experience of universities such as the University of Minnesota in engaging alumni and developing philanthropy in higher education was presented.

During the forum, modern approaches to the development of endowment funds and the role of alumni in supporting universities were discussed. An important outcome was the signing of a memorandum of cooperation with the Association of Endowment Funds of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The forum marked a significant start to the anniversary decade, with many more events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of ENU still ahead!
